Congratulations to Our New Priests - Ordained June 7, 2008



Father Daniel Dreher, from St. Vincent’s Parish in Pampa, completed his undergraduate seminarian training at Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, TX, where he received his BA in Philosophy from the University of Dallas.  From there Daniel went on to begin his theological studies at St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in Mundelein, IL, which is right outside of Chicago.  Daniel recently completed his Clinical Pastoral Education where he worked as a student chaplain at a hospital in Omaha.  Daniel is currently in his fourth year of theology and was ordained a transitional deacon at St. Vincent de Paul’s Church in Pampa on November 17, 2007. 


Father Dreher will continue his ministry as the Parochial Vicar of St. Anthony's Parish in Hereford, TX. He will also serve as the chaplin for the Catholic Student Center at West Texas A&M University.


Father Nicholas Gerber comes from Holy Family Parish in Nazareth.  Nicholas graduated from WTAMU with a BS in Psychology.  While studying at WTAMU he was active at the Catholic Student Center.  Nicholas attends Assumption Seminary in San Antonio, TX. He has recently completed his Clinical Pastoral Education where he worked as a student chaplain at a hospital in Seattle.  Nicholas is currently in his fourth year of theology and was ordained to the transitional diaconate on November 23, 2007 at Holy Family Church in Nazareth.


Father Gerber will continue his ministry as the Parochial Vicar of St. Mary's Parish in Amarillo, TX.
